PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Gravitropism-
Gravitropism is a turning or growth movement by a plant or fungus in response to gravity.
Chemotropism-
Chemotropism is movement caused by chemical stimulus in organisms such as bacteria and plants.
Phototropism- Phototropism is directional growth in which the direction of growth is determined by the direction of the light source.
Thermotropism- oriented growth of an organism in response to heat.
Hydrotropism- oriented growth in response to water.
Thigmotropism- oriented growth of an organism in response to mechanical contact, as a plant tendril coiling around a string support.
