• Positive means going towards
• Negative means going away
• The part before tropism tells you most of the time what tropism it is.

• Photo means light
• Positive means growing towards light
• Negative means growing away

• Positive means growing bigger like fertilizer
• Negative means growing smaller like weed poison

GRAVITROPISM

• Gravi means gravity
• Positive means grow towards gravity
• Negative means grows away from gravity

THERMOTRPISM

• Thermo means heat
• Positive means it would thrive in in a certain temperature
• Negative means it die at a certain temperature

HYDROTROPISM

• Hydro means water
• Positive means grows bigger in certain amounts of water
• Negative means the plants die in certain amounts of water

• Positive means go towards touch
