THE TROPOSPHERE
The lowest layer of the earths atmosphere closest to the surface of the planet.
The troposphere contains clouds, smog, water valet and 75% of the atmospheric gases.
An important process happens with the convection currents
Extends form the earths surface to a height of about 3.7-6.2 miles( 6-10 km), which is the lower boundary of
The stratosphere

THE TEMPERATURE IN THE TROPOSPHERE
The tropospheres temperature decreases rapidly with the altitude.
The troposphere is the warmest layer because it's the closest to the ground.
The temperature of the troposphere is between ground level temperature
And -56.5 degrees Celsius.
The temperature is a measure of the molecular internal energy.

GASES IN THE TROPOSPHERE
Their is nitrogen which is a colorless gas that takes up78% of the troposphere
Their is ozone but there are only traces of it I the troposphere
Their is argon which is a noble gas and is colorless, it takes up about 23% of the troposphere
Their is oxygen, it takes up about 21% of the troposphere.
The last gas is carbon. This is a natural occurring gas that's causes global warming.

CONTENTS IN THE TROPOSPHERE
The air inside the Troposphere gets thinner as you get higher
The Jet Stream is also found just below the Troposphere.
All of the water and dust particles are found in the Troposphere
The height of the Troposphere is about 20 km.

WEATHER IN THE TROPOSPHERE
The troposphere is were all the weather comes from.
The clouds in the troposphere are made of water vapor and dust particles.
Some cloud names are Stratus, Stratocumulus, and Cumulus.
Some are big and puffy and some are long and skinny.
This in were the wind and humidity comes from also.
