When he was young, Truman used to get up at 5:00 in the morning to practice piano twice a week.
His middle initial S. does not stand for a name, both his grandfathers had S's in their names.

Truman died at age 88 on December 26, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was buried in the courtyard of the Truman Library. His wife, who died at age 97 in 1982, was buried beside him.
