Since civil war broke out un South Sudan in December 2013,over 50000 people have been killed -possibly as many as 383000 according to a recent stimate and nearly four million people have been internally displaced or fled to neighboring countries.
Many justify the roots of the conflict in South Sudan for "ethnic" reasons, but other analysts argue that it is due to political and economic causes flamee in the rivalry between Salva Kir and Riek Machar.
When the country achieved it independence in 2011(supported by Washington) the rebel factions agreed to distribute power in that nation, appointing Kiir as president and Machar asumes the position of vice president.
The consequences of war are taking their toll no the entire region and are intensified by by environmental hazards, desertification, drought, and famine. The socioeconomic and educational infraestructure has been destroyed in Southern Sudan, taking the family support system with it.
I think that what is happening in that country does not deserve it,i see that there are many politicians who do what is best for the and do not care about the citizens who are experiencing these conflicts.
