While in the woods the tucks tell Winnie about their secret they are taking Winnie to their house because their not sure they can trust her

After they get to the tucks house she goes inside their house she sees how dirty and how old it is.

The man in the yellow suit and the constable are riding to get Winnie from the tucks because they kidnapped her

In the morning when Winnie woke up her and miles went fishing in the pond on a boat so they can catch their breakfast the fish

The tucks and Winnie end up eating Pancakes for breakfast because they told them they didn't catch anything when fishing.

The constable come and take Winnie and Mae tuck to two different places one to home and for the other one to jail because Mae shot the man in the yellow suit because she was protecting Winnie and Winnie gets to get to go home to her parents

CONNECTIONS BETWEEN JESSE AND WINNIE

• Winnie saw him on the tree truck and thought he was beautiful
• At night Jesse came to Winnie while she wasn't asleep and asked her "when your 17 will you drink from the spring and we will live together"

After she got home she lay in bed at night and thinks that she to do something about Mae because she doesn't want to go to the gallows because if they hang her she won't die.

Outside Winnie and Jesse talk about breaking Mae out jailhouse at night because she can't die and don't want to reveal their secret during the gallows so they make up a plan
