TUNDRA CONDITIONS
High latitude climate.
Cold weather & dark winters.
Monthly temperatures average below freezing.
Soil is thinner than in the subarctic.
Snow and ice is often 2 miles thick.

Closer to the polar regions.
Far north of the northern hemisphere.
Parts of Alaska are tundra.

PRECIPITATION
Precipitation is meager.
In most places it'll rain in the summer.
But in Norway it'll be in February or March.
Average yearly rainfall is 15-25 cm.

Average winter temperature is -34° C (-30° F)
Average summer temperature is 3-12° C (37-54° F)
