Turkeys have feathers that act like a coat to protect it in winter
Turkeys have enhanced eyesight cause by the growth of a one around the eye. This helps the turkeys spot predators
Turkeys are omnivorous. This helps because turkeys don't have to rely on one food source
Turkeys can smell extremely well. This helps them locate food from a distance
