Residential care:
Is where a person leaves their home to be cared for in a safe and secure home environment.
Examples: Alzheimer's or physical frailty.

Day care:
Is for people who need care on a daily basis but not in a residential home.
Examples: each person is assessed , and his or her needs are met on an individual basis.

Nursing care:
This is where a person needs more nursing care because they are ill and/or need specialist health care.
Example: each person my have had a heart attack and be seriously ill.

Domiciliary care:
Means"at home" so this is health and social care carried out at home.
Example: if they want to give birth at home.
