TRAVERSE STAGING

  • The Traverse staging is where there is a runway-like stag with seating on either side of the stage.
  • A good thing about this stage layout is the view because you can see the people from a different view.
  • The bad thing about the Traverse Staging is that you can’t see the stage from all angles

IN THE ROUND STAGING

  • In the round staging is a bit like an amphitheater. There is seating all around the stage.
  • A good thing about the stage is that the seating is usually raked so that means you can get a really good view from wherever you are sitting.
  • A bad thing about the In the round Staging is that sometimes that characters or props could be facing away from you and that means you wouldn’t be able to see them.
