Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines on November 8th, 2013
Typhoon Haiyan happened in the Philippines which is located in Southeast Asia and also affected a lot of smaller island.
After Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines houses, buildings, trees were destroyed and thousands of people were killed.
The Red Cross helped injured people and people that don't have homes.
People, products, ect. Moved by planes or ships
The military offered them help for transportation.
Typhoon Haiyan occurred in both rural and urban areas
The region is made up of mountains and flat lands
People moved to other countries for safety, they moved by planes and other forms of transportation.
Other countries helped by donating food and clothing, as well as setting up websites where donations can be made
