Dynamic:Louie is a dynamic character. I know this because in the beginning while he was growing up. He was a thief. He stole things for the fun of it, and that made Louie laugh. Then after he had a talk with his brother Pete. Louie got all serious with his life. He knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to run. That made him happy. Then after going to war, and getting captured, and being a P.O.W.(Prisoner Of War) he was scared. He wanted to get out of the prisoner camp, and see his family. Then once the war was over, and he went to go see his family he was never the same. He had nightmares every night. He dreamed about a prison guard that beat him up every day when Louie was at the prison.

Theme

Never Give Up, and Always Believe

The theme of Unbroken is never give up, and believe. This is the theme of Unbroken because when Louie was in the prison camp he kept telling himself to believe he was going to make it back, and see his family again. Also Louie never gave up even though he got beat up every day by the prison guards.
