HE BOWED HIS HEAD IN CONTENT TILL THE LAST NOISE OF THE COMPLAINING SNOW HAD DIED AWAY, AND HE KNEW HIS SON WAS BEYOND RECALL.

SENTENCE 2

  • His head would fall forward.
  • It would fall upon his knees.
  • He would rest.

Sentence 2
HIS HEAD WOULD FALL FORWARD UPON HIS KNEES, AND HE WOULD REST.

SENTENCE 3

  • He placed the stick carefully.
  • He placed the stick upon the fire.
  • He resumed his meditations.

Sentence 3
HE PLACED A STICK CAREFULLY UPON THE FIRE AND RESUMED HIS MEDITATIONS.
