Circulatory System

  • Blood flows through the right atrium into the right ventricle. The blood in the right ventricle is pumped to the lungs. In the lungs the blood releases waste and picks up oxygen. The oxygen-rich blood returns to the heart and goes to the left atrium. It then flows from the left atrium to the left ventricle. Then the blood is pumped to all body parts. The oxygen-poor blood flows from the body to the right atrium and the cycle starts over again.

Digestive System

  • The mouth is where digestion begins it releases enzymes to start digestion. Then the food moves through the pharynx and esophagus. The food travels to the stomach which has acid needed to break down food. The gallbladder releases bile into the duodenum to help digest fats. The pancreas makes hormones to regulate the blood sugar level. It also creates enzymes to break down food in the intestines. The rectum stores poop and the poop leaves the body through the anus.

Respitory System

  • When you inhale air it travels through your trachea through the bronchi and the bronchioles. The air then travels to the alveoli, this causes your lungs to expand. The air travels to the capillaries which surround the alveolus. The capillaries ride on the red blood cells to your heart. The heart sends the oxygen-rich blood to your cells. Then , you exhale and your diaphragm and rib muscles relax. Once your cells have oxygen your blood carries carbon dioxide and wastes that must leave your body. The blood goes back to the capillaries and the wastes enter the alveoli. Then you breathe out.

Relation

  • The circulatory system uses the respiratory system to attain oxygen-rich blood and get rid of carbon dioxide and other wastes. The digestive, circulatory, and respiratory systems work together to get rid of waste and poisons in your body. The digestive system gets rid of solid waste and the respiratory and circulatory systems work to get rid of waste n the blood. The circulatory system pumps blood to the cells. The digestive system provides nutrients and energy to the body. The respiratory system allows you to breathe. These three systems play crucial roles in survival.
