Then capturing there meals with one great leap

Usually eat small to medium animals
Mice, snowshoe hares, squirrels , birds, and white tailed deer fawns

Life expcetancy: 10-15 years wildlife , 20 years captivity
The bobcat is named for its "bob" tail which look as though has been cut
Bobcats are nocturnal, so they rarely spotted by humans
In some areas, bobcats are still trapes for there soft, spotted fur.
