MIME TECHNIQUES

• Your presentation must include mime techniques that we learned in class. Everyone in your group must demonstrate at least one of the following miming skills.

• The mime walk and/or walking up the stairs
• Lifting/ passing an object
• pushing and/or pulling
• The lean
• sneaking around a wall
• One moment where all the characters are moving together (Flocking)
• A beginning, middle, and end (conflict is clear)

Things I will be looking for:

• Overall group energy/positivity
• Slow and clear movements (precision)
• Consistency when holding and moving objects (including push and pull)
• Exaggerated movements and gestures
• Clearly establish environment (setting)

• Effective use of musical choice (movements match the beat)
