- Finally the British recognized him.
HOW WERE TANKS USED ?
- Used to break the deadlock of trench warfare.
- It provided a safer way to enter the enemies area.
FIRST USE:
- First used by the British army in 1916.
- Used during the battle of Somme.

- Today the tank has an efficient and improved weapon systems.
- They now use different material that provides more safety for its crew.
- Their tracks are modified to allow them to work on more rugged terrain.
