• They thought that they had to separate their parents to see light. Tane- MAnuta, father of the forest, told them that
• Everyone thought that their plan about their parents was a good plan expect for Tawhirima-tea
• They ended up doing it
• Rangi and Papa tried to but they couldn't
• Tane- Manuta layed down and pushed the earth and sky far away

RANGI AND Papa

• He pushed until he saw light
• Tawhirima-tea was very upset that they did that to their parents
• He wanted to get revenge by giving storms
• Hr created whirl pools that frightened most people
• Tangaroa left because he was scared

Aftermath

• To this day, only one bother of the six, Tawhiri-tea remained unconquered.
• His storms attack human beings on both land and and sea for the revenge of Heaven and Earth
