  • Look at the whole page first to get an idea about what this page is about.
  • Then focus in on the teeny, tiny details.
  • Think about what your are learning and then turn the page and try again.
  • Think about what all of the parts have in common.

LINGER FINGER

  • Instead of zooming through a book, pause and think about what you are reading.
  • Ask questions.
  • Make connections.
  • Linger -- slow down and stay on a page.
  • Notice details.
