  • I picked Uranus because I think it is interesting that it spins on its side.
  • I don't know much about Uranus but I'm looking forward to learning more about Uranus .
  • That's why Uranus is called the sideways planet.

DESCRIPTION

  • Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system.
  • Uranus like Jupiter,Saturn,and Neptune all have ring systems.
  • It orbits the sun at a distance of 1785 million miles.(2873 million kilometers).
  • Uranus is so far out in deep space It is difficult to see.
  • Uranus was discovered in 1781.

INTERESTING FACTS

  • Uranus is the first planet to be discovered in modern times.
  • It was discovered by a man named William Hershel.
  • While searching the sky with his telescope.
  • It had been discovered before but had been simply considered to be a star.

CONCLUSION

  • The reason why I picked Uranus is because I wanted to learn more about Uranus
  • and I wanted to learn how long Uranus orbited the sun.
  • I hoped you learned more about Uranus.
