  • the stealing of records from
  • Watergate during the Presidential
  • election.

LET'S GO TO COURT!

  • It went to court in 1973, and lasted
  • until 1974. Nixon said he is above
  • judicial ruling. That he is as powerful
  • a monarch as Louis XIV.

IMPEACHMENT?

  • Nixon said he would only answer
  • to an Impeachment Court.
  • And that's what they did.

INFORMATION

  • Nixon recorded conversations
  • about watergate, and the
  • prosecutor wanted access to
  • these "Nixon Tapes."

RESIGNATION

  • Before the ruling to
  • impeach him, he decided to
  • resign. He gave one final
  • speech.
