HERBS HAVE BEEN USED IN MANY WAYS THROUGHOUT HISTORY.

Some of these ways include using them for cooking, cleaning, medicine, etc.

USE OF HERBS DATES BACK TO ANCIENT EGYPT AND SUMERIA

Other ancient cultures such as India, China, etc. also used herbs.

HERBS WERE ALSO USED IN RITUALS AND POTIONS.

They would be used to prevent disease, protect from evil, etc.

NOWADAYS, HERBS ARE NOT USED AS OFTEN.

They are used in similar ways though.

WE STILL OFTEN USE HERBS TO COOK.

We put herbs in our food to give it flavor and make it smell nice.

WE ALSO STILL USE THEM IN MEDICINAL WAYS.

Herbs can be used in teas, relaxing baths, as suppliments, etc.

HERBS ARE EVEN USED TO HELP PEOPLE RELAX.

Some relaxing herbs include mint, chamomile, lavender, etc.

THE FDA IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT DEALS WITH MEDICINE AND SUPPLEMENTS

They do not want people to know about herbal and natural remedies.

THEY WANT TO LIMIT PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATURAL REMEDIES.

They do this for our safety, as some plants are bad for health.

THE FDA WOULD RATHER PEOPLE USE OTC MEDICINE.

OTC means Over The Counter

IN SOME SITUATIONS, OTC MAY BE A BETTER OPTION.

They can clear a wider range of ailments and may take into effect quicker.

HOWEVER, HERBAL REMEDIES ARE ALSO A GOOD OPTION IN SOME CASES.

THEY CAN BE MORE RELAXING, TASTE BETTER, AND BE HEALTHIER.

WHICHEVER YOU CHOOSE TO USE, BE SURE YOU ARE USING IT RIGHT.

IN CONCLUSION

HERBS HAVE BEEN USED IN THOUSANDS OF WAYS FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

But nowadays, we do not think much of herbs.

THOUGH MANY PEOPLE DO NOT OFTEN THINK OF THEM,

HERBS CAN BE VERY HEALTHY AND RELAXING.

HOPEFULLY SOMEDAY PEOPLE WILL HAVE JUST

AS MUCH USE FOR HERBS AS THEY DID IN THE PAST.
