The uss enterprise was in the pacific war in 1941 it sister ship was the hornet the uss hornet it was attacked by an invasion of Japenies planes attacked the us hornet and was heavily damaged so it was dead in the water and had to be toad but it never maid it out of the battle ground the crew members had to abandon ship

HOW THE USS HORNET SANK

• Was attacked by invasion of japenies planes
• It tried to fight off so many japenise planes
• it faild because the dive bombers and torpedo planes hit uss hornet
• So the damage was so bad crew the abondon ship and order for uss Hornet To Be Sunk
• Then the us tried to sink it then the japiense finally did

The ship was called that because of its lucky escape from torpedo planes and dive bombers The uss enterprise built in 1936 is survived but was heavily damaged during pacific war vs Japan this air craft carrier was a flag ship in the pacific war
