BY DANIEL GRAVES

What is a vegetarian?
A person who does not eat meat, and sometimes other animal products, especially for moral, religious, or health reasons.

Claims
A vegetarian diet has many true claims. It claims to prevent less weight gain than a meat diet, lower cholesterol, and lower saturated fat amounts. However, the main issue is the lack of protein and other nutrients.

My Opinion
I personally feel that vegetarian diet is not necessary. I think that it does not provide all the nutrients you need and people should rather follow a diet with more variety such as the Food Pyramid.
