Venus is the second planet from the sun

Venus was named after a roman goddess of love and beauty

Venus is moonless and ringless
The surface temperature is 900 degrees Fahrenheit, hot enough to melt lead
The surface rotates slowly, but the winds blow as fast as a hurricane
Some scientist believe that there may have been a shallow ocean on venus billion years ago
They also think that the temperatures billion years ago could be livable for humans
