Description of Project

• CMs Provided tutoring intervention for students with poor academic performance in one or more of the state tested academic areas - In class intervention - Once a week, end of day tutoring sessions

Major Work Accomplished

• Tutored 105 students each day
• Campus Beautification

Community Benefits

• Increasing test scores for struggling students
• Providing an extra authority figure for teachers
• Being positive role models for students who might not have that at home
• Providing direct service for the community where our campus resides

• Giving Corps Members a chance to see first hand what teachers go through on a daily basis

• Played a sit-down version of ‘Cross the Line’
• Participated in ‘Diversity Dinner Week’ where each Corps member cooked a meal from home and discussed it’s importance to their culture
