A video game designer makes the outline of the game. They make the missions, levels, and rules.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Listen to others and understand.
• Read work materials and understand.
• Think of original ideas and notice when somethings wrong.
• Use computer programs to make things.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sit for long periods of time.
• Understand the speech of other people.
• See details in objects that are more than a few feet away.

WORK LOCATION/ WORK CONDITIONS

• Always work in doors.
• Big cities.
• Work 40 hour weeks. Overtime is common.
• Sometimes self employed

MEDIAN WAGE

PREPARATION

• Art, computer programming, creative writing, painting and drawing, and graphic design.
• High school diploma or GED
• Have work experience in a similar field.
• No degree required.
