PRESENTATION OUTLINE
First, measure the vinegar beaker.
Do the same with the baking soda beaker.
Pour 10 grams of vinegar into the vinegar beaker.
Put the same amount of baking soda in the baking soda beaker.
Measure the beaker with the vinegar.
Do the same with the baking soda.
Subtract the masses to get the actual mass of the baking soda and the vinegar.
Add the masses together to get the mass of both chemicals.
Cover the top of the baking soda beaker with plastic wrap
Add a rubber band to ensure the wrap is tightly sealed.
Leave a little hole so it is easy to pour the vinegar in the beaker.
Pour the vinegar in the beaker.
Quickly cover up the hole with the wrap and secure the rubber band.
Take the mass of both and subtract it from the mass of the baking soda to get your total mass.
