WHEN WAS IT FOUNDED?

  • Virginia was founded in 1607.

WHY WAS IT FOUNDED AND BY WHAT PERSON AND/OR GROUP?

  • Virginia was founded for trade and for profits.
  • John Smith founded Virginia which was Jamestown back then.

WHAT TYPE OF COLONISTS WERE ATTRACTED TO THE COLONY AND WHY?

  • English people were attracted to Jamestown ( Now is Virginia) .
  • There were attracted because you were able to receive better trade and better help from the Native Americans.

WHERE WAS THE COLONY LOCATED?

  • Virginia was located in the Southern Region

WHAT ADVERSITIES DID THE COLONY HAVE?

  • The people in Jamestown had problems with the different types of animals that lived there.
  • They also had problems with running out of food and getting sick without have the right medical supplies or help.

DID THE COLONY LIVE UP TO THE GOAL OF WHY IT WAS FOUNDED?

  • Yes because today Virginia or Jamestown is still uses for trading and farming.

WHAT WERE THE FIRST SETTLEMENTS OF THE COLONY?

  • The first settlements of Virginia was Jamestown.

HOW DID THE COLONIST GET ALONG WITH THE NATIVE AMERICANS?

  • The English did get along with the Native Americans by trade.

HOW DID THE COLONISTS MAKE THEIR MONEY/SURVIVE?

  • The English made survived by trading with the Native Americans.
  • They had there own money.

HOW DID THE COLONY FEEL ABOUT REBELLING FROM GREAT BRITIAN?

  • They felt great because they wanted Independence from Great Britian which cause a war but also cause freedom.
