Neutral

• synonym - undecided or inactive
• antonym - decided or interested
• During the American Revolution some colonists stayed neutral. They could not decide what side to fight for.

Anticipation

• synonym - hope
• antonym - doubt
• I waited in great anticipation for the movie to start.
