FUNCTION

  • Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin that is necessary
  • For normal growth and development. It's needed for the growth
  • And repair of tissues in all parts of your body.

DISEASES/CONDITION

  • Deficiency, or a lack of vitamin c in the body happens because of the
  • Lack of sufficient amounts of vitamin c in the diet. Lack of vitamin means
  • That new collagen can't be formed. Lack of the vitamin can cause
  • The condition scurvy.
