Vitamin C is found in foods like oranges, mangos, some vegetables, and tomatoes.
If the body does not receive enough Vitamin C the gums might get a disease called scurvy.

Potassium maintains water in the body, and maintain muscle and nerve function.
Potassium is found in foods like bananas, grains, meat, fish, and vegetables.
With out potassium the body will get dehydrated, have an irregular heartbeat, and slows down development of muscle tissue.
