Saddest Chapter:
In Chapter 43 they are very detailed describing in how the bus had crashed and one survivor left, that made it suspenseful. When I figured out it was not Sal's mom that survived and Mrs. Cadaver that had made it. I felt bad she was gone and Sal was not there to say goodbye.

Happiest Chapter:
The happiest chapter in my opinion is chapter 44. All though we had just figured out Sal's mom had not been the only survivor you got to see her life go back to normal. Sal was with her dad and now with Gramps back on their farm. Gramps now has a dog and Sal has her chicken. There life can go back to the way it was.

Funniest Chapter:
The funniest was definitely chapter 13. In chapter 13 Mr. Birkway "was mighty strange". He shared lots of the students journals, with personal topics. He would say "Brilliant!" and "Wonderful!" and "Terrific!" at the most odd occasions the whole class was worried the class had no idea who's journal was going to be read next.
