Imagery
"Eagle with crest of red and gold"
"Hoarse, booming drums of the regiment"
"Little souls who thirst for fight"
"Swift blazing flag of the regiment"
4.
Theme
The life lesson we learned from this story is that
war is not kind in fact war is cruel and pain full to the
people that have love ones who have died in war.
5.
Irony
For example when he says "war is kind."
He really means that war is not kind at all
"These men were born to drill and die."
They weren't really born to drill and die
he's just using that to make a point
6.
Speaker
The speaker is trying to get his point a crossed that
war is not kind in fact that war is not good at all that the
war that is going on destroys many peoples life's and they just have
to keep going in order to sirvive
