- 70% of the world, is made up of water
- 97% of the water is salt water, aka undrinkable
- 2% is frozen in glaciers, and 1% if found in ponds and lakes
- 1% of all fresh water is in Canada
- 0.1 % off all fresh water can be found in the atomosphere
water can be found underground
There are only 3 states of water

- we use water by - bathing, brushing your teeth, shaving, car wash,washing
- dishes, watering plants....
- we Waste/abuse water by Leaving the tap on while washing your hands/
- brushing your teeth,watering plants too much,watering your driveway
how water affects the environment
- Polluted water can poison and kill living things,like fishes.
- floods can uproot and destroy plant life.
- also floods can drown animals like cows.
- All living things will die without water
how to fix
- Soak pots and pans instead of letting the water run while you scrape them
- When doing laundry, match the water level to the size of the load.
- Fix leaks as soon as possible
- Install a thermostat and timer on your evaporative cooler so it only operates when necessary
- If you use processed water in your business or facility, look into water recycling
