IMPORTANT

  • Accumulation is like puddles on the ground.
  • Evaporation is when the water turns into condensation.
  • Condensation is when clouds form.
  • Precipitation is when the water falls from the clouds.
  • Accumulation is puddles and it turns into condensation.
  • If we didn't have the water cycle we would have no water on the earth.

STEPS OF WATER CYCLE

  • Accumulation
  • Evaporation
  • Condensation (clouds form)
  • Precipitation
  • Subsurface (underground runoff)
  • Transpiration
  • Condensation
  • Precipitation

IMPORTANT TO LIFE

  • The water cycle is responsible for distributing water across the earth through evaporation, condensation and precipitation, a process that is vital for sustaining life on earth by providing water to plants and animals and humans.

HOW WE AFFECT THE WATER CYCLE

  • We affect the water cycle by spilling oil in to the body's of water.
  • Groundwater mining
  • The water cycle happens all a around the world.

VOCABULARY

  • Condensation- water the collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it.
  • Accumulation- the acquisition or gradual gathering of something.
  • Water cycle- the continuos movement of water between the atmosphere, the land, and the oceans.
