WATER CYCLE

Transpiration is a process that carries moisture up from roots and to these small pores underneath a leaf where it changes to vapor.

Infiltration is the process where water on the surface of the ground enters the soil.

Runoff is the flow of water. It occurs when storm water, meltwater, or other sources flow over the earth's surface.

Ground water is water found underground in the cracks and spaces in soil, sand and rocks.

After all this happens, it starts over. This cycle keeps going on forever.
