INVENTER

  • Edmund Cartwright invented the Water-Power Power Loom.
  • 1785
  • In Doncaster,England to manufacture cloth and make it easier.
  • And he also invented the Steam Engine and Wool-Combing machine.

PURPOSE

  • The reason on wow he did this was it made it easier to weave
  • The weaving process before was VERY slow and hard
  • So Edmundo Cartwright visited a factory and got some very good ideas

WAS IT USEFUL

  • YES
  • People loved it
  • People always worked I factories
  • They had to do it by hand and waste the whole day doing nothing
  • And working very long long long hours.
