LONGITUDINAL WAVES OSCILLATE BACK AND FORTH.

TRANSVERSE WAVES OSCILLATE UP AND DOWN.

Reflection, to cast back.
Rarefaction, to make less dense
Diffraction, a redistribution of energy.

THE VELOCITY OF A WAVE IS... V=50HZ*4.0M=200M/S OR V=F*A

Constructive, two waves collide forming a larger version of the wave.

Destructive, two waves collide forming a smaller version of the wave.

One interesting part about this chapter was how waves can form all around us.
