Amplitude

• the maximum extent of a vibration or oscillation, measured from the position of equilibrium

Crest

• the top of something, especially a mountain or hill

Trough

• a long, narrow open container for animals to eat or drink out of

Frequency

• the rate at which something occurs or is repeated over a particular period of time or in a given sample
