En Masse Sodality (E.M.S.) means band of brothers and not comparable. Formed in 2008, E.M.S. is comprised of P$A, MAI and LG. E.M.S. sought out to transform hip-hop, bringing together authenticity and art with their debut LP, A.O.D. (Age Of Discontent) Vol. 1. E.M.S. takes a great amount of pride in their artistry. E.M.S. has opened for many well respected hip-hop artists such as Slum Village, Oodisee, Cres Cru and more.
Engulfed in originality, A.O.D. Vol. 1 is an excellent introduction into the group's many styles; their views on the world and a personal look into their life. ‘The Age of Discontent’ represents the life and way of thinking that is often hidden in today’s society and gives an in depth description of the many vices in life that make the world turn, and helps you understand that what the media portrays isn't always reality.
A.O.D. Vol. 1’s lead-single, “Primary Fabrics” is a clear indication of those beliefs, a fabric within a fabric that mirrors urban and hip-hop culture that was instituted decades ago.
