  • It’s like a tornado but is made of water and bigger
  • It’s one of the worst kinds of storms

  • It normally happens in the south-southeast
  • It is formed over the water
  • Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and Miami are city’s that can have a hurricane

HOW TO STAY SAFE

  • When a hurricane is spotted on the news you need to leave the city you are in don’t leave you valuables
  • If the hurricane is close to the coast leave right away and go to high grounds like mountains & hills
