CHEMICAL WEAThering

  • Chemical Weathering breaks down rock using chemical change
  • Chemical changes can occur from-
  • Water
  • Acid Rain
  • and Carbon Dioxide

EROSION AND DEPOSITION

  • Erosion is the process of carrying away small rocks
  • Deposition is the depositing of those rocks
  • Those small rocks are then carried off to form new rocks

FORMING NEW ROCKS

  • The eroded sediment is carried of by the elements
  • It is deposited in a new place where it is compacted until...
  • It becomes a sedimentary rock and now repeats the rock cycle
