Matthew 13: 24-30

The parable says that a nice man sowed seeds in the ground but while he was asleep his enemy sowed weed with the seeds. While the seeds grew as did the weeds. The man knew it was his enemy that put the weeds but decided not to pull out the weeds so the wheat would not be pulled out and ruined. At harvest, he shall collect the weeds and toss them then gather the wheat.

The kingdom of God is described as where the Son of Man will send his angels and collect out his kingdom. All evil and sin is not allowed in the Kingdom or God, only good.

Matthew 13: 36-43

Jesus explained to his disciples the story of the weeds. The nice man is the Son of Man, the seeds are the good children and the weeds are the bad children, the enemy is the devil, the harvest in the end of age and the field is the world. The son of man will take the good children to his kingdom and the bad ones will burn in the furnace.

God's expectations are for the good children to live with him in his kingdom and for the bad children to burn for their sins. The devil wanted to make God mad and pull out the weeds to ruin the wheat but God let them grow with the wheat and then burned them when it was ready. Meaning evil can grow in the world but only the good will go with God to Heaven.

This relates to people's lives today because evil is always in the world brought on by the devil. We have to take God's path so we can go to the kingdom of God and not burn for the hateful things we have done.
