This course:

  • is content heavy with the new curriculum
  • has high expectations as far as work ethics are concerned
  • will require a combination of dedicated work in class and at home

Division of work

  • Literature (short stories, poetry, novel studies, articles, various online sources)

To be successful:

  • Use time in class wisely
  • Be an active participant in class

Expectations

  • Participate thoughtfully and often
  • Use technology for good and not for evil
  • Respect is what we expect
  • Give yourself the best chance at success

In language learning, we must check our fear at the door, open ourselves to the possibilities, and respect the process in the beauty of attaining such knowledge
