Making it to class on time.

Honesty. If you're having difficulty completing an assignment, talk to me. 

If you have a question, come see me.

If there's an issue that you have with the class, please come and see me.

When you come into the classroom...

Get the handouts on the front cart.

Begin working on the warm-up in your journal.

When you miss a day, get the work from the absent folder and see me for more instruction.

Distractions will come up, but I need you to focus in this class.

Everyday at the beginning of class we will...

• Put our feet flat on the floor.
• Put our hands flat on our desks or laps.
• Breathe in for a count of 6. 
• Hold that breath for a count of 4.
• Breath out for a count of 6. 

We'll repeat that three times.

We don't all have to like one another.

But we will respect the ideas of our peers.

Some people are think-talking.

While others need time to ponder.

If you need to go to the bathroom, just ask.

Overdue Policy

• 10% per class on most assignments.
• You may earn up to 50% for time sensitive homework. 

Sometimes cheating isn't obvious.

We collaborate in class, not on homework and assignments unless explicitly stated.
