  • He was 89 at his death

  • Lots of forests
  • Appalachian Mountains in the north
  • Many plains throughout Georgia

Economy

  • Georgia exported cotton, corn, vegetables, grain, fruit and livestock
  • Georgia grew cotton, rice, sugar, indigo and other crops
  • some things were traded for items that could not be produced

  • they always had religious freedom
  • It was the only colony to ban Catholics initiall

  • North Carolina is in the north
  • South Carolina is in the north east
  • Tennessee is in the north
  • Alabama is in the west
  • Florida is in the south

Why You Should Live in Georgia

  • If you like peaches they are fresh
  • It is not as cold in the winter as some other colonies
  • There is beaches

  • Georgia is the peach state
  • It was the last of the 13 colonies to be founded
  • It was founded in 1732
  • It was named after King George the Secon
  • It was warmer in the Summer then some other colonies
