Who am I?

  • I'm Ms. Salazar.
  • From Brooklyn/Queens, NY.
  • My family is from Honduras.
  • I speak English & Spanish.

My Summer Vacation

  • Worked at MOSI
  • Watched a lot of Netflix.... & Disney+
  • I played video games and I slept....a lot! Like, everyday!

My Family

  • I have a huge family on both sides
  • I have two little sisters.
  • I have 2 cats named Rupert & Figaro.

  • I am afraid of heights, clowns, & aliens.
  • My favorite colors are pink & purple.
  • My favorite holiday is Christmas and New Years.
  • I love all types of music.

Stuff I Like

  • I like to read books & watch TV.
  • I like to sing and listen to music.
  • I like to have coffee every morning.
  • I like to go to concerts!
  • I like to crochet blankets - new hobby learned during the quarantine!
  • I like to play on my Nintendo Switch

  • Robert H. Goddard Magnet School {M.S. 202} in NYC
  • St. Stanislaus Catholic School in NYC
  • I went to music lessons for piano & violin
  • Sept. 11 happened when I was in 7th grade.
  • I was part of Chorus, theater, & orchestra

Where Did I Go To School?

  • I have attended school in New York & Florida.
  • Graduated from Saint Leo University with a BA in Science Education.
  • Graduated from Saint Leo University with an MS in Instructional Design.

Teaching Experience

  • Have taught 6th to 9th grade
  • Taught Physical Sci & Biology
  • Completed 2 years of internships
  • This is my 7th year teaching science

  • If you are not in the room BEFORE the bell rings- you are tardy!
