LOCALLY

  • Provide fresh produce from surrounding farms
  • Students must have gym everyday and require a full two years of gym to graduate
  • Have a full day of field activities outside once every two months
  • Grocery stores can bring in food from local farms

FRESH PRODUCE FROM LOCAL FARMS

  • Helps the farms because they sell more
  • The kids will like it because it is fresh and they know where it comes from
  • The food requires much fewer preservatives due to less travel
  • Grocery stores can bring in local food (where they can) which will be cheaper because they have to pay much less for shipping

STATEWIDE SOLUTIONS

  • Build small, government-run fitness centers with just the necessities to lose fat, paid for by health insurance companies

FITNESS CENTERS

  • Health insurance companies will pay for them because in the long run they will pay less for you
  • Can have three days a week where the centers are free for everyone from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This would encourage those who don't have the money to start going.
  • Memberships will be cheap, which will cause people going to other centers to start going to the cheaper facility, which will add up and pay for broken machines, more equipment, maybe even things like weightlifting additions or a small indoor track.

NATIONWIDE

  • Place a maximum amount of preservatives and added sugars that can be used in commercial food (McDonald's, Subway, etc.)

PRESERVATIVES

  • You can place a maximum amount of preservatives and added sugars that can be used in commercial food. This brings more business to the local farms because the companies will be forced to bring the food in from closer farms to keep the food fresh. It will also will allow the local farms to expand. This will reduce the amount of farmers that are in debt.
