Westward

The House

• This is a large house. It has five different rooms. The living room, Patty's room, the parents room, the kitchen, and the bathroom.

Independence, Missouri

• This is a little town that was in the civil war. This is where Patty and her family stopped to rest after they traviled for their first days on the trail. Also this is where Mrs. Reed got her new sun bonett.

Fort Bridger

• this is a fort with many shops and sellers. This is where the Donner party stopped to get directions and fix some minor troubles they also met Mr. Hastings who gave them the terrible directions.

The Salt Desert

• This is a dry desert made intierily out of salt. This is where The Donner party went for 4 days. It is also the place where Patty hid her doll in her dress when her parents told her to leave it

Sierra Nevada

• This is a very snowy and harsh area. Mountains scatter the terrain. This is where the rescue team sent from Mr. Reed found the Donner party. This is also where Milt died.

California

• After the long, treacherous and painful journey west, Patty and her family finally made it to California to carry on the rest of their normal lives.
